Zane’s knowledge of all aspects of operations has been instrumental in helping numerous startups grow quickly and has resulted in several successful exits.
Sherman Tang, CMO, Co-Founder
Sherman brings over 19 years of technological experience in designing and manufacturing of networking, security, server and storage systems to Sideband Networks. Sherman has previously implemented successful sales and marketing campaigns growing $100M+ industry revenues in a variety of market segments for companies including Flextronics, IWILL Corp. and AIC.
Stephen Pieraldi, VP Engineering
Stephen Pieraldi offers more than three decades of proven experience in leadership, technology and go-to-market strategies. He brings a deep understanding of networking, computing and managerial systems to Sideband Networks and is an Industry Fellow at UC Berkeley teaching an Entrepreneurial Challenge course in the IEOR program. As a serial entrepreneur, his previous companies include Guessn, 2BClear and IForem. He has also served in various executive roles including Chief Operating Officer at Guidewire and Executive Vice President of International Sales and Business Development at NeoForma.
Allan Thompson, EVP, Global Sales
Allan is a 25 year veteran having built global enterprise sales, BD and channels in Networking and Security. He was recently the EVP, Global Sales & Business Development for RedSeal Networks. Allan has built great companies from the early stage to public or acquisition like Trend Micro, IntruVert Networks (Acquired by McAfee for Network IPS), Senforce Technologies, Reconnex (Acquired by McAfee for Network DLP) and DataGuise. Allan was recognized as a 2014 Channel Chief by CRN Magazine for 17 years of successfully building revenue streams around the world with large distributors and strategic value added partners. Allan has a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA.

Bharat has over 30 years in communications products, wireless infrastructure, mobile apps, media and semiconductor businesses. Managing Director at Redwood Ventures and Board Member to several technology companies including Niksun, Lumasense and OKI Semiconductor building them up from scratch to profitable>$100M revenue entities.
