Live Traffic Analytics

Current generation traffic analysis systems utilize Netflow, sFlow and low speed taps, receiving samples of traffic rather than all of the traffic. High end traffic analysis appliances utilize port mirroring (port spanning) and high-speed taps to monitor the network, but require expensive hardware and storage solutions to reach 10Gbps speeds.

The eXtensible Response Engine (XRE)™ uses proprietary L2 through L7 data heuristics to monitor your entire network in real-time, while minimizing the amount network data inspected. The heuristic filtering avoids the privacy concerns that are raised by overly invasive ‘record all - analyze later’ architecture. Sideband uses information to better provide insight into network health and integrity.
